About volunteer work

What is Volunteering?

Volunteering is a conscious, unpaid involvement in socially meaningful activities that not only allows you to help others, but also to develop yourself. It’s an opportunity to do something purposeful, explore new cultures, gain valuable skills, and be part of positive change.

It’s a great way to change the things we don’t like and to create what is missing.
Volunteering offers experiences that broaden your horizons, teach cooperation, improve language skills, and help build meaningful friendships around the world.

What Do We Offer?

We offer opportunities for both local and international young people to get involved in volunteering in various ways:

🌍 International Experience:
We send young people on long-term and short-term projects within the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program, where they can work in a variety of fields – from environmental, human and animal care to cultural and social projects.

🏡 Volunteering in Latvia:
We host international volunteers who support our local community and invite local youth to get involved right here, participating in projects and initiatives.

🌱 Get involved locally:

  •  “Community Garden” – a green space in the city to grow plants, learn about gardening, meet people and work together.
  •  “Swap-shop” – a creative and open space to share ideas, meet others, and exchange clothes and items.
What’s useless to you might bring joy to someone else!

Get Involved!

Whether you want to go on an adventure abroad or get active in your local community – volunteering is a path to change that you can start today.
